Web Site Design for Masterkey.com

The Masterkey web site won't be up forever, so I've collected these screenshots for your perusal. Although the team spent months and months of planning for a larger, more functional site - in the end this version was all we had the time to actually create. We managed to knit together 25 fulfillment partners, covering various vertical markets along the horizontal market that is created by the act of moving. Some partners were integrated nicely via XML - we had some ugly frames-based integrations too.

If the project were mine to re-do, I think I would have come up with a sleeker site, with less emphasis on marketing goals(i.e. photgraphy) and more emphasis on usability (e.g. clearer labels, orientation). It was tough, because the company was just getting started and marketing goals were of paramount importance to the organization. Hopefully, I'll be able to apply the lessons learned in future projects. Well, without further ado, here are the screenshots:

'Addr. Change: Postcards'
With a tip of the hat to Apple.com, we allowed users to create moving e-mail postcards, choosing from an array of colorful photos. Messages could be displayed in

a selected font and would driver recipients back to the site for viewing, thus creating a marketing opportunity.
